Happy to be informed today that our proposal named SALUS: “Strengthening law enforcement with advanced IoT forensic tools and enriched investigation schemes, realised by a Software Defined Network Security-as-a-Service architecture” has been selected to be funded by the EC.
The proposal was submitted under call HORIZON-CL3-2024-FCT-01-01.
SALUS will address the growing security challenges of IoT systems, by providing law enforcement with:
- New forensic investigation schemes and policies, and
- Advanced IoT forensic tools for threat detection, evidence collection, and cross-agency collaboration, all while ensuring compliance with EU legal and ethical frameworks.
Our group research activities will focus on the following main topics:
- Robust and explainable AI-empowered information processing
- Digital twin entity and process modelling
- Software-defined network controller and application development
