Happy to be invited to participate today and tomorrow to the kick-off meeting of the ISF project FORTIFY in Madrid, in order to represent the Ceasefire Project and the outcomes it has accomplished so far.
FORTIFY establishes a global community to address the threat of firearms trafficking. In the meeting activities participate more than 100 high-level experts in person, including representatives from EMPACT firearms, Europol, Interpol, ENODC, UNIDIR, CEPOL, SELEC, DG HOME, as well as police and customs officers from European member states and multiple third countries.
HUA computer vision group, apart from providing an overview of the Ceasefire project, will also focus on demonstrating its developed technologies for X-ray inspection imaging and visual Web data analytics for firearm detection.
