Vacancy description:
The Department of Informatics and Telematics of the Harokopio University of Athens (Athens, Greece) offers a full-time vacancy for a junior researcher position in the area of computer vision technologies. The position activities will focus on the application of various Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine/deep learning solutions to image analysis tasks. The selected candidate will receive funding from relevant EC research projects.

Requirements:
- BSc or MSc degree in informatics, computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, electrical engineering or related field
- Excellent programming skills (preferably Python programming language)
- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken)
Additional skills (to be considered as a plus):
- Knowledge of fundamental principles of machine and/or deep learning
- Experience with Tensorflow and/or PyTorch (or other similar) deep learning frameworks
- Previous scientific publications in related areas (e.g. computer vision, artificial intelligence, etc.)
