It is with excitement (and a little bit of emotion) that took place today the final conference of RESPOND-A in Nicosia, Cyprus hosted by our coordinator CERIDES – Center of Excellence in Risk and Decision Sciences
This is the culmination of 3 years of hard work by all consortium members, who worked together to design, develop and test a wide range of easy-to-use products and services to enhance the capabilities and safety of first responders.
The conference provided the audience with a condensed overview of what the project has achieved in the last years, highlighting its main activities.
Through its use cases and training sessions the project has created and maintained a dialogue between first responders and technology providers in order to ensure that the various products and services developed by the consortium matched the needs of end-users.
We are now carefully adressing the exploitation and sustainability of our results, to ensure that they will benefit European society long after the project ends!
